MX3 was proud to send off a 7-man strong homegrown triathletes representing MX3’s hometown – Davao City. The team composed of businessmen, employees, lawyer and a student all took the 5150 mile challenge finishing the race way below the required cut-off time by the race organizer where almost a thousand multi-sport enthusiasts coming from the different parts of world converged in Subic Bay, Zambales last June 29, 2014.  Seasoned, novice and pro triathletes tested their strength, stamina, determination and skill as they plunged and swam together at exactly 6:20 am for a 1.5km distance at the deep waters of the bay area, followed by a 10km flat and fast bike ride at the Subic Airstrip before taking on the remaining 30km challenging rolling hills of the once major facility area of the US Naval Force. And as if the excruciating bike climbs weren’t enough, the race cap off with a 10km run under the scorching hot Subic Bay sun that passed along the Subic Bay Golf course then back to the Subic Bay Convention Center to finish.

Team Tritan-MX3 started their preparation for such event as early as January this year. In spite and despite of their very hectic and demanding personal schedule, each member were able to squeeze in and committed to spend a 6-day regular workout in order to prepare their body and mind for such grueling race. Early mornings are allotted either for a run or bike workout or sometimes, both while late afternoons are spent on the pool for their swim workouts.  Weekends are set for long distance run, bike or swim. To cope up with such demand and avoid getting sick, the team made sure that they maintain a proper diet,  a regular 7-8  sleep, a cup of MX3 coffee or tea to start off the day and  their daily dose of MX3 plus for that needed extra energy boost, healthy strong heart and improved immune system.

The 5150 is just of the many races that the team has listed in their bucket lists. Next stop will be the ultimate triathlon race in the Philippines – the Cobra 70.4 Ironman in Mactan, Cebu on August 3, 2014.

Team Tritan-MX3, is all about living a healthy lifestyle, being a role model for the next generation, being fit, active and at the same time having fun – this makes us truly MXTRAORDINARY!
